My Bell Tower
Compositions
After ringing my bell for a few special occasions and recording those events on my website, I decided I'd like a similar record of precisely what I'd rung – beyond simply the method and number of changes – not least for easy reference in case I wanted to ring the same thing again in the future (which I no doubt will). Initially I added details of the compositions to the footnotes to each performance, but I quickly realised that would become messy (particularly for more complex compositions) and would require either a lot of repetition or references back to previous performances, so I needed a single repository – hence this webpage.
I've organised the compositions by their stage (i.e. the number of bells changing places) so they're not in the order I rang them, but I've added links to them from each performance in my list of Ringing for Special Occasions.
